Blake Edwards

I was saddened yesterday when I heard about the death of director Blake Edwards.
He was a great talent. Not only did he direct THE PINK PANTHER series with Peter Sellers, but he was also responsible for such comedy classics as BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S, VICTOR/VICTORIA, OPERATION PETTICOAT and S.O.B.
He was also quite capable when it came to more serious fare, such as EXPERIMENT IN TERROR and DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES.
Although I never had the opportunity to meet him, he and his wife, Julie Andrews, were longtime clients of Hanson and Schwam Public Relations when I was doing consulting work there.
I'm almost done with the first pass on my screenplay, just another 10-15 pages to go. I still have to come up with a final action scene (Ugh!), but I will, hopefully, have the whole thing complete by the end of next week.
You have a creative weekend, and I'll be back with you on Monday.
