Watching Boston

This past week, I spent much of my time glued to the television set, watching the events unfold in Boston. I'm sure that many of you did, too.
So, I didn't get a hell of a lot accomplished, writing wise.
I did, however, write and post a review of the new DJANGO UNCHAINED DVD, which you can find on the Best Bets on DVD site, accessible via the link in the Introduction section of this page. Additionally, although I haven't watched it yet, I also received a review copy of SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, a review of which I'll also be posting sometime this week.
With regard to the Austin production of LOMBARD, I'm not sure that's going to happen...at least, not now. The actress who is trying to set it up seems to be discovering some of the realities of play production, and I get the sense that she's backing off. Too bad. I would have liked to have directed this one.
On the other hand, maybe it will happen. As they say, "it isn't over until the fat lady sings".
In the meantime, I've been hired to create a couple of book trailers, and I've also come up with an idea for a new play. I'm starting to research the subject, so we will see how this progresses.
You have a creative week.
