LOMBARD in Austin?

Last Wednesday, the actress who approached me about starring in an Austin production of my Carole Lombard play and I went over to see the theater she has in mind.
It's a nice venue, owned by the city, that seats 150 people. The stage is a little deep for a one-person play, but we can move the set forward so that the staging is more intimate.
We're talking about doing the show for six performances in mid-September, just after the Jewish High Holy Days. I would be directing.
Now, all she has to do is come up with the budget (i.e. the $) and we will proceed. The dates are being held for 2 weeks before contracts have to be signed.
The radio interview with Mary Jane Popp of Sacramento went well on Friday. We talked about THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS anthology and the individual plays. She's invited me back for November when my 2nd memoir, LIFE, LIBERTY & THE PURSUIT OF HOLLYWOOD, is published.
I still haven't decided what I want to write next. I've got a few ideas spinning around in my head, but nothing I want to talk about yet.
Currently, I'm reading actress Julie Adams' (THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON) autobiography and enjoying it. I just received a signed copy.
I haven't watched it yet, but sometime later this week I'll be posting a review of PAWN on the Best Bets on DVD site, accessible via the link on the Introduction section of this page. I understand that it's a pretty good thriller, so take a look.
You have a creative week.
