The Comic Con

Overall, the Austin Comic Con was a success for me, but Sunday was a bummer.
I sold a lot of books on both Friday and Saturday, as well as some CHEYENNE WARRIOR DVDs. But, on Sunday, I sold a total of 3 books.
Apparently, some of the major celebrity stars did not make as much money as they had expected the first two days, so they did not return on Sunday. That certainly cut into the attendance. Most of that day, you could shoot a cannon down the aisles and you would not hit anybody.
Certainly the nicest moment at the even happened on Saturday morning. A man came up to my table and said. "Last year, I bought your book, MY FORTY-FIVE YEARS IN HOLLYWOOD AND HOW I ESCAPED ALIVE. I read in in one day, and now I want to buy your new book."
Wife Sandy and I are thinking about attending the New Orleans Comic Con in late January, but we have not made a decision yet.
Incidentally, for those of you have been waiting for it, DRACULA MEETS JACK THE RIPPER & Other Revisionist Histories is now available on Kindle. So enjoy!
Now, I'm off to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned.
You have a creative day.
Michael
