Possible JOLSON production

Yesterday, I e-mailed off contracts for a production of my one-person play, JOLSON, to be presented in Greensboro, NC in mid-November.
Once the signed contract is in my hands, I will make an "official" announcement, but since the theater has already listed the production on its website, this looks pretty good.
Since the play has not been staged since 1997, I spent part of yesterday trying to update my list of copyright holders for the songs that are used in the show that are not in the public domain.
At one point, I spoke to a woman who works for the company that handles George and Ira Gershwin's music. Geroge, of course, wrote two Jolson classics: "Swanee" and "Liza".
This woman, who was in her mid-fifties, had not only never heard of those songs, but she had never even heard of Al Jolson.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
You have a creative day.
