What took you so long to get here?
Where have you been all my life?
I’ll tell you where I’ve been.  

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor. 
I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.  
Anything that was a challenge.  I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?     
Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

Happy Birthday, David!

My son, David, will be 42-years-old on Sunday (25), which leads me to ask:

"How can I have a 42-year-old son?"

Since I don't write a blog on Sunday: Happy birthday, son!

I finished formatting the JOLSON script for CreateSpace and Kindle.  Now, I'm waiting to receive my review copy to proof.  Hopefully, it will get here by Thursday, so that I can take it with me to Chicago next weekend.  Correcting it will be something to do on the plane.

This is very funny.  It was an e-mail I got this morning:

As a rule, I don't pass along these "add your name" lists that appear in emails, but this one is important.
 
It has been circulating for MONTHS and has been sent to over 25 million people.  We don't want to lose any names on the list so just hit forward and send it on.
