Wouldn't You Know It?

Wouldn't you know it?
The package from the Warner Archive that I was complaining about in Tuesday's blog arrived yesterday.
It was shipped on the 1st, but took the scenic route to get here...two weeks later.
There are some interesting movies in the package: THE UNHOLY THREE, Lon Chaney's last movie and only talkie, FIVE STAR FINAL with Edward G. Robinson, which was a Best Picture nominee the year it was released, plus THE CANTERVILLE GHOST with Charles Laughton, a movie I recall fondly from my youth. Also, GUN GLORY, a western with Stewart Granger and THE UNDERWORLD STORY with Dan Duryea, obviously a gangster picture.
My screenplay is coming along quite well. I just might have my first pass finished by the end of the year.
In the meantime, I've started watching the final season of "24," and I'm certainly enjoying it.
So, you have a creative day and I'll be back with you tomorrow.
