What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

Cold and Wet

It is so cold and wet here in Austin, as I write this. I hate the cold.

SEXY REXY, my play about Rex Harrison, got a very nice review on Amazon this past week. If you get a chance, please go check it out.

In other news, I did a radio interview on Friday with Mary Jane Popp. We discussed MURDER IN BABYLON, my novel about the William Desmond Taylor murder. I thought the interview went well.

Earlier that day, I had an appointment with my heart doctor...and he says that I will live. The old ticker is going strong.

I'm currently working on one of a couple of stories that I started writing a long time ago. Depending on how they turn out, length-wise, I may release them individually or as part of an anthology. We shall see.

I finally saw BOYHOOD this past week. It's a marvelous movie, which will probably win the est Picture Oscar this year. It's out on home video now, so please check it out.
