My New Stage Play

My new play for THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS collection is virtually finished. As soon as I proof it sometime this week, I will be uploading the manuscript and once I proof the first copy, I will make it available for you to read.
The title of the four character play is LANA & JOHNNY WERE LOVERS, and it deals with the Lana Turner/Johnny Stompanato affair, which was certainly the biggest Hollywood scandal of the 1950s. It was even more infamous than the Franchot Tone/Barbara Payton/Tom Neal scandal, which preceded it by several years and I deal with in my play, B MOVIE.
Interestingly, although I was still residing in Seattle, I happened to be visiting Los Angeles with my parents when both of these sensational stories broke. I have a vivid memory of seeing the newspaper headlines in the L.A. papers.
I'll have more information on LANA & JOHNNY WERE LOVERS when we get closer to the publication date.
In the meantime, I'm in the process of correcting the proofs for my Dinah Shore biography, then once I'm done with that, I'll be checking the final audio version of MURDER IN BABYLON.
Busy. Busy. Busy.
You have a creative week.
Michael
