What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

Possible New Dog?

Sandy and I are seriously considering getting a new cat and dog. Yes, we enjoy our freedom for pet responsibilities, but we also miss having the company of furry friends.

This weekend, we met a 3 year old male lab mix that might be a good fit for us. He's lived with his current owners since he was a pup, but now they can't keep him any longer. He was at our home on Saturday with the couple and they will be bringing him back next weekend to stay alone with us for a few hours. If that works out, then the official adoption will take place right after the first of the year.

Last week, I uploaded a new trailer for the audio version of ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD: From the Secret Files of Harry Pennypacker. Scott O'Neill, who narrates the audio book, also did the voice-over for the trailer. I'm also working on trailers for the audio version of both SHADOW WATCHER and ORSON WELLES. They should be up soon.

Not much else happening this week. December is always a slow month, isn't it.
