What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

Happy Turkey Day!

Although this blog entry is dated Monday (25), I'm really writing it late Friday (22) night.

I'm just back from the Wizard World Austin Comic Con where I was seated next to actress Kelly Hu...and my back is killing me. (Not her fault. She's a charming lady.)

I figure that tomorrow and Sunday will be just as tiring, so since most people will be preparing for Thanksgiving Day this week, this site is not likely to get much traffic for the next several days. That's why I decided to write this week's entry early in the event I don't feel like doing it later this weekend.

One thing: There's a new review on the Best Bets on DVD site, accessible via the link in the Introduction section of this page. The movie is JAYNE MANSFIELD'S CAR with Robert Duvall, Kevin Bacon and Billy Bob Thornton, who also directed. Please take a look.
