What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

Chester Is Here!

Happy New Year, everybody!

This past Thursday (3), we picked up our new dog, Chester, at the kennel. He has a sweet disposition and he seems to be settling in well with us. The only issue at this point is that he likes to eat his poop, so we will have to do something about that.

I'm now about 2/3 the way through the first draft of my Basil Rathbone play.

Also, I've recently posted a review of the original THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH (1934), directed by Alfred Hitchcock. on the Best Bets on DVD site. You can access it via the link in the Introduction section of this page.

That's about it for now. Chester wants us to take him to the pet store to get some stuff.
