What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

YVONNE DE CARLO

I know I haven't been around for awhile, but the truth is that I haven't had much to talk about.

However, today I want to announce the publication of my new one-woman stage play, YVONNE DE CARLO. It's available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions.

Ms. De Carlo is probably best remembered for her roles in Cecil B. DeMille's THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, her television series, THE MUNSTERS and for the Broadway musical, FOLLIES.

Before that, she was the "Queen of Technicolor" at Universal Pictures, starring in many forgettable Westerns, pirate and sword-and-sandal movies, as well as the film noir classic, CRISS CROSS with Burt Lancaster.
