What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

The Quiet Before the Storm

With the exception of my doctor's appointment in a little while, today and tomorrow are going to be relatively quiet, but starting Wednesday and for the remainder of the week, I'm going to be busy with the Austin Network Mixer and Austin Comic Con.

Sunday night, I'm probably going to collapse...if not before.

I watched a very good, surprise filled thriller over the weekend, THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED. My review is on the Best Bets on DVD site, accessible via the link in the Introduction section of this page.

The screenplay is coming along quite well. I try to write, at least, one scene per day.

And, that (as well as writing my talk for Wednesday) is what I'd better get back to now, so you have a creative day.
