What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

The Globe

There will be an article on my book in the October 4th issue of The Globe.

I have no idea what part of MY FORTY-FIVE YEARS IN HOLLYWOOD AND HOW I ESCAPED ALIVE that that popular supermarket tabloid chose to write about, but I'm sure it will be one of the "juicer" sections.

I had a good lunch meeting yesterday that will, hopefully, lead to a screenplay writing assignment. Certainly the story we're developing is an intriguing one.

There's also another interesting writing assignment possibility in the works, and I'm supposed to meet that person this coming weekend in Chicago.

Fingers crossed.

I'm doing more radio interviews for the book both this morning and tomorrow morning, then Thursday will find me running around, getting ready for my departure to the Windy City on Friday.

I'm really looking forward to finally visiting Chicago.
