The ACX Scramble

Last Tuesday night was a scramble. As I mentioned last week, ACX, the company through which I distribute audio adaptations of my books and plays, was adjusting their royalty system, and audio productions that weren't contracted for my midnight, would earn a lower royalty payment.
I managed to close four contracts before the deadline. Two of the productions are being done by other people and two are going to be produced by me...once I find a recording situation. In hindsight, I wish I'd contacted to do all of my scripts myself because now the uncontracted ones will be subject to a lower royalty.
While my wife is proof-reading my Dinah Shore biography, I'm currently in the process of adapting the stage versions of the contracted plays into audio versions.
I'm getting some nice feedback on B MOVIE, my play about the Franchot Tone/Barbara Payton/Tom Neal affair that was published last week. There's a great review on the Amazon site, and a top Los Angeles theatre company has requested a copy; possibly for production. (Fingers crossed)
Not much else to report. You have a creative week.
