Family Tree

I've suddenly taken an interest in researching my family tree.
Because of the Holocaust, I've probably researched my father's side of the family about as far back as I can go. Records of Jews from Europe and Russia, in most cases, were lost during World War II.
However, I really know very little about my mother's side of the family, so I think, as time permits, I'm going to do some digging to see what I can learn. I know that her maternal grandfather was a lawyer, who clerked for Clarence Darrow, but that's about it.
On her father's side, I believe that one of his brothers was in the Texas oil business, so that should be interesting to explore.
In the meantime, I have a interview with the Austin newspaper today, which I'm looking forward to doing.
So, you have a creative weekend and I'll be back with you on Monday.
