Return to The Alamo

Yesterday, Sandy and I took my son, David, and his lady friend, Lynette, down to San Antonio where we visited The Alamo and also the Riverwalk.
This was the third time I've been to that historic site (i.e. The Alamo), and yesterday just happened to be the 175th anniversary of Texas' independence from Mexico, so there was a big ceremony going on at the shrine when we got there.
I was exhausted when we got back to Austin, but the good news was that when I went to pick up the mail, there was an unexpected royalty check waiting for me.
Today, I'm not sure what we're going to do with David. Perhaps we'll take him to the LBJ Library...or, he might take off on his own, because he rented a car when we got back to Austin yesterday afternoon.
I will let you know tomorrow.
Have a creative day.
