Yesterday, we took my son, David, and his lady to the LBJ Library, then out to the Hill Country where we ate at Salt Lick, which is supposed to serve the best barbeque in the country.
I am not a fan of barbeque, so I can't attest to the quality one way or the other, but David and everybody else certainly loved it.
Today, I think that David and I are going to spend some time hanging out together, Saturday, he and his lady (Lynette) have plans of their own and, on Sunday, we'll take them for the fabulous brunch at Green Pastures before they fly home.
This week, I signed the contracts for my next book, a volume of short (and not so short) stories, entitled DRACULA MEETS JACK THE RIPPER and Other Revisionist Histories. BearManor Fiction will be publishing it in late August or September.
So, you have a creative weekend and I will be back with you on Monday.
