More Jokes

My nephew, Pat, is doing slightly better, but he's still on the critical list.
I will keep you informed.
Now, here are a couple of jokes I came across:
A guy tells his psychiatrist, "I always have this weird dream at night. I
am locked in a room with a door on which there is a sign. I try to push
it with all my strength, but no matter how hard I try, it won’t budge."
The psychiatrist muses, "Interesting. But tell me what does the sign
on the door say?"
The guy replies, "It says 'Pull'!"
Yesterday....

Yesterday, I spent the day at home, working on my new novel and watching the rain, such as it was, fall.
Wife Sandy was at the dentist, so I had to be here when the computer repairman arrive to drop off her Dell laptop and the other fellow arrived to fix our shower.
As I write this, I am awaiting word with regard to my nephew, Pat. He is having heart surgery today.
So please say a prayer for him, and try to have a creative day.

2 DVD Reviews

I've posted 2 new DVD reviews on the Best Bets on DVD site, accessible via the link in the Introduction section of this page.
SARAH'S KEY is an excellent film, a Holocaust mystery that stars Kristin Scott Thomas. Indeed, it's one of the best movies that I've seen this year. Quite moving.
Mario Bello and Michael Sheen star in BEAUTIFUL BOY, a film about a parent's worst nightmare. The performances in this one are superb, as is the dialogue and direction. But, I think the story could have been told in half the time.
This weekend, November 11-13, I will be signing books at the Austin Comic Con and it looks like, next May, I will be doing the same in Dallas at Texas Frightmare Weekend.
Not much else to report today. Hopefully, we'll get some rain here in Austin within the next 24 hours. We can certainly use it.
Have a creative day.
Michael
